History Chest: Rutherford observes visit of two prominent Puerto Rican authors

Rutherford has recently observed the visit of two prominent authors from Puerto Rico, who came to the community on distinctly different scholarly missions. Author Marta Aponte Alsina came to see for herself the hometown of William Carlos Williams to help sharpen her focus on the poet’s well studied relationship with his mother, the Puerto Rico-born artist-musician Raquel Helene Rose Hoheb.
