Although the Astros aren’t sure exactly how much impact Carlos Correa will have at the box office during his Minute Maid Park debut Friday night, the Puerto Rican phenom’s Astros’ No. 1 jersey and T-shirts have been the club’s most popular apparel this week.
Correa, who was ranked as the top prospect in baseball by ESPN before he made his major league debut Monday, was 4-for-12 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and one stolen base against the White Sox during his first three-game series in the majors.
Now, he’s set to make his home debut. The first overall pick in the 2012 draft wears No. 1.
